1
We meet at an unofficial access point of the Eno River in North Durham every Tuesday afternoon. Our start time is ___ before the time change in spring/summer, __ after the time change in fall/winter. The meetup officially wraps up by dusk when the park closes. Exact location information is included in your registration confirmation email and our occasional reminder emails.
When and where do you meet?
2
When you register for BeTWEEN the Trees you will receive an automatic confirmation email that includes the location details as well as the group leader’s email and cell phone number. There will not be a confirmation email for every single meetup - but there will be a monthly email listing the next several dates. So be sure to add them to your calendar! And you will always get an email if a meetup is cancelled due to weather or other reasons - so be sure to check your inbox before you leave the house. You can always contact the group leader to double check as well.
You don’t have to attend every meetup to be part of the group, but we hope to cultivate a consistent group of kids who attend regularly. Schedule change, not your kid’s thing? Simply email and we’ll remove you from the meetup emails.
How will i know when the next meetup is?

What should my kid bring or not bring?
4
Please do not allow your kid to bring phones, handheld games, or other technology. The group leader will occasionally bring things like field guides, nets, or other nature-exploration tools as desired by the tweens. You and your tween are welcome to do the same!
Why was this created for tweens specifically? Third spaces.
